1.  Raw wood sanded and dust free

2. Base coat with a solid color then seal with clear coat

3.  Dab out a swirl pattern

4. Mottle out with a rag to make marble pattern

1. start with a black base coat

2. Pieces of masking or painter's tape are cutout in various shapes and placed on the black backround. Then a white glaze is mottled over the surface, including the pieces of tape, let dry

3. Remove tape pieces then add a few clear coats to protect the mable finish
